Grewal FIne Homes is proud to offer the  services of artist Mary Joan Hinson, who joined the team on August 1,2023.  As a student of Florence Academy of Art, Mary Joan creates works to adorn the finest homes or the corporate setting.  

Mary Joan cultivated her passion for oils from an early age, expanding her studies across the United States, Europe, and the Far East. Transitioning from her role as a Professor of Fine Arts and Humanities at FSCJ, she earned her PhD in 2005, subsequently dedicating herself to teaching and exhibiting across the eastern United States.  She was Professor of Visual Arts and Humanities, Florida State College at Jacksonville: 1995 – 2020,

and Professor of Design, Laureate University: 2015 – 2020.

In 2020, M.J. redirected her focus to exclusive artistic pursuits, instantly earning accolades; 

2020-2021:

Brest Museum Painting Award

Sublime Abstraction Painting Award

NAS Jacksonville Auditorium Commission Award

2022:

Earth Day Exhibition: Planetary Award for Best Painting
